Whether you are a fan of the brand or simply appreciate vintage folk art & advertising, the light would be a great addition to your collection. The light has a retro 50s atomic vibe to flow with the era of the housing and V8 badge. CONDITION- The finish has an antique bronze colored industrial paint. There are imperfections such as paint scrapes, chips, and patina spotting and ware. The V8 emblem has some pitting of the chrome in areas and faded areas of red. There is denting on some of the corners of the metal housing with the most prevalent denting on the bottom corner. The housing is very old and has lots of imperfections. The light holds one candelabra sized bulb and currently has a small Christmas sized blue bulb, you can put any type of bulb you want in there as long as it has a candelabra sized threaded end. To change the bulb remove screws on top bottom & sides of casing to open the light. The light is built like a tank and sits stout on its legs, NOTE- there is a tad bit of rocking from leg unevenness. Approximately 10″ wide x 14 3/4″ tall 7 thick/deep. This is a hand built folk art piece made with many antique pieces as well as some vintage a newer pieces. Thank you for looking!
