Up for sale is a high quality vintage hand blown Murano art glass table lamp. The body of the lamp is blown by hand out of thick clear glass, is extremely heavy, and done with a stunning ribbed urn style silhouette. It’s mounted to a lovely circular black base and is fastened with a generic sized light socket. The lamp is in great working condition and measures 28 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. I would guess it dates to the 1920’s or 30’s and was made in France or Italy, but it is not marked. I have replaced the electrical socket and wiring and added a fresh pad of felt to the bottom. The socket takes a short-globe E26 base bulb like the one shown (not included).

LARGE VTG 1933 Worlds Fair Ringed Saturn Lamp Art Deco Machine Age RESTORED

This extraordinary large Saturn lamp dates to the mid 1930’s and was associated with the 1933/34 “Century of Progress” World’s Fair in Chicago. Here the fair’s Saturn motif is complimented by strong machine age design of contrasting chrome and black finish. It is unknown whether this lamp was an “official” World’s Fair product, however it is certainly of that period and genre. This lamp has been restored and refurbished and is in excellent working order. The original chrome finish is intact and in displays well. The black surfaces on the base have been restored with satin black enamel. The black ring on the Saturn globe has been re-touched. The original push switch socket has been retained and interior bulb contacts have been cleaned and polished. All wiring has been refurbished with new period reproduction rayon covered twist style cord and appointed with new vintage style plug. This lamp utilizes a standard medium Edison base light bulb. Light bulb is not included. IMPORTANT: ABOUT THE SHADE. Approximate dimensions are as follows. Height to top of socket: 14-1/2. Saturn globe diameter: 5-1/2. NOTE: While the lamp displays well overall, upon close inspection one can observe the superficial wear and abrasions on chrome surfaces, particularly on the globe. Large Unusual Antique Wood & Brass Trench Art Shell Table Lamp Vintage Ww1 Ww2

Here we have a wonderful unusual brass table lamp base. This has been made from an old brass shell, I cannot see any markings on the shell so don’t know which conflict it would have been from but it is definitely of the period. I would imagine this dates to around 1940 and is a one off piece – I have never seen another like it. It measures approximately 18.75 inches tall to the top of the shade holder by 7 inches at the base. It comes with approximately 1m of cable. Weighs around 1.25kgs. Very decoratively made, a perfect addition to any collection of trench art or any home. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
