This is a very stylized and showy lamp. It almost reminds you an engine shaft. The chrome discs are graduated and have two pieces of clear acrylic or Lucite in between to add to the attractiveness. The chrome pieces have some pitting and wear to them, as would be expected from the age of the piece. The cord is in good condition, and the socket to turn the lamp on off works great. All that is missing is a very wonderful lamp shade to go with it. The lamp stands 12 inches from the table to the bottom of the light socket where you put the lightbulb in. There is pitting and wear to the chrome pieces as I mentioned and the Lucite pieces have a little bit of scuffing and surface wear, but it only adds to the authenticity of the piece.
