Vtg MARBRO Amber PARROTS Birds MURANO Italian ART GLASS Tiki Bar UNIQUE MCM LAMP

This vintage all amber glass lamp is gorgeous, and very unusual- we could not find another like it. Measurements are 37-1/2″ in total height with a 21″ tall stem mounted to an 8 wide gold-toned base. Top brass piece is 15, and weight is 17 pounds. Would look amazing in a Tiki Bar with a colorful tropical paper or beaded shade! THE MOUNTING GLUE ON ONE OF THE PARROTS (which measure 11-1/2″ & 13″ in length) HAS LOOSENED DUE TO AGE, AND THE BIRD MUST BE REATTACHED TO ITS PERCH. This is not breakage or damage, and can be easily fixed. We will leave this to one who has more know-how than we do in the field of glass repair. There are no damage or breakage issues to the glass- what may appear to be damage is the result of lighting or camera flash. Only slight item of mention are two tiny “dings” on the top of the wood or wood-like base (as shown in the last photo). Both pulls work smoothly, and the lamp functions well. Original finial is also included. Measurements are 14″ wide by 13-1/2″ tall x 10-1/4 deep. There is no “Best Offer” option on this item. The price and terms are firm. The fitter, socket, and shade are replacements. All the other parts are original. Super cool old light. Shown lit so you can imagine how wonderful the lamp will look in your home. Scroll to view all the pictures. Overall the base is 2 1/2″ x 7 3/4″ diameter. The height is 15 to the top of arm. The fitter is 2 1/4 diameter. The green and white cased art glass shade is 4″ x 4 1/2″ diameter. No cracks or chips. Chrome plated brass arm. Chrome plated stamped steel elbows. There is a mount under the base if you choose to use as a wall sconce. Cast into the base: GENERAL ELECTRIC. Two elbows with wingnuts. Old P & S fatboy medium base E-26 socket. On/off pull chain switch. The cord is 6 long. New old school style non-polarized plug. Easy to remount, just bolt back on and hand tighten.
