Vintage Tramp Folk Art Wood Popsicle Stick Table Lamp Spiral Base Handmade MCM 21 x 14. Tested and working with cord and all electrical in good condition. Lamp is in good condition with some visible glue. I can’t really tell if any sticks are missing. Some dust is present. Measures approx 14″ in diameter, 21″ tall and weighs 2 lbs. VINTAGE Large Folk Art Popsicle Stick Lamp and Shade

This sale is for a large vintage/folk art handcrafted popsicle stick lamp with shade. It is a great example of folk art created useful objects from popsicle sticks. This was a hobby/craft craze after the war (WWII). This lamp and shade use overlapping popsicle sticks to create a star shaped lamp that morphs into a six sided base. The shade is a geometric dome of 14 sides. The lamp portion is 16″ tall or 24″ tall to top of the harp. The base of the lamp is 11″ x 11″. The lamp shade is approximately 17″ in diameter and 8″ tall. It is made of stained and glued popsicle sticks and sits on a flat piece of wood with four feet. The wood base is likely pine. The base and popsicle sticks are stained. The lampshade is a round faceted shade with 14 facets made by the popsicle sticks. The lamp base has a star shape on the top portion which changes to a six sided base on the bottom half. This is vintage so it has some spotting and there are a few popsicle sticks missing/broken. Most of the broken/missing popsicle sticks are at the top of the shade and the top of the lamp so they aren’t readily n oticeable. There is one broken in the shade (see photo). I can include a few newer blank popsicle sticks that you can stain and glue to the lamp. Also, the lamp sits on the base but is not glued so it is easily moved and should be secured. See photos for condition. The wiring in the lamp works but I strongly recommend rewiring this lamp because the socket is loose and old. It currently has the turn knob control type light socket. Antique/Vtg Double Sided Lighted Folk Art Arrow Exit Sign Table Lamp/Light Deco

Wonderful Folk Art double sided lighted Exit sign table/counter lamp. The exit light looks to be a 1950s-60s metal and glass panel sign. The sign was made into a very convenient plug in and go table lamp with a beautiful Deco themed art design. The light has mamy antique parts used to create the piece. Both Panels remove very easily for easy bulb changes. The light is operated by a on/off roller switch attached to the cord. The color scheme is beautiful with the natural metal of the vintage sign accented with antique gold guilded components that make up the Art Deco arrow that’s piercing the light and a large flaming torch that adorns the top of the light. There are some slight scratches and scuffs primarily on one corner and a few others scattered throughout from years of use, and age patina on the Torch finish, but overall in very nice condition. The light would look fabulous on a store counter or anywhere you may have in mind, and easily moved and used without having to hard wire into a ceiling or wall. A wonderful piece of Americana Folk Art that you can use and meant to serve a purpose while appreciating the art and work involved in its creation. Extremely unique electrified Folk Art table lamp. This display was made from an original He Man castle grayskull play set. The towers have three electric flame bulbs, green bulb lighted eyes and a larger green bulb that illuminates the entire inside with a green glow, a total of 6 separate lights in all. The flaming tower bulbs are a darker orange when viewing in person but the camera illuminates the bulbs a little lighter/brighter in color. The lamp opens for access for servicing and bulb changes. The latches work but takes some finessing to get them latched. There are some imperfections scattered from age and being worked on. The lamp is operated with a on/off roller switch attached to the cord. EXTREMELY awesome piece of Americana Folk Art with a functional purpose you can use and enjoy.
