This amazing lamp was designed and made, by the Kelby Pottery Co. Of Brooklyn, New York. Incised signed on the back. The pottery produced very special hand crafted lamps, vases, and other art pieces. Aluminum bulb socket with especially designed and sized harp. The ceramic/ pottery part of the lamp has a freeform / abstract / biomorphic appearance. With Tactile raised decoration, dark gray with bone tone openings. It probably dates from the late 1950’s or early 1960’s. The ceramic body is tall 17″ The Overall height to the top of the finial is 29 ½” x 7″ wide x 6″ deep at the base. Felt on the bottom. Great vintage condition: working socket. The only things that would need mentioning, are 2 small chips by the bottom rim. Appropriate patina for age and used. Please view and zoom all pictures as they are part of the description.
