A pair of vintage mid-century modern aluminum and Lucite table lamps. The lamps are approximately 14 inches tall, the bases are just under 5 inches diameter. One lamp has a replacement cord and bulb socket/switch – these fittings are very similar but not an exact match. Both lamps have a few scuffs and scratches and tiny dings to the brushed finish, and one has a small shallow dent to the aluminum (the tip of the pen is pointing to it). The photos for details. L&F Moreau Pair of Vintage Art Nouveau Spelter Lamps, J. The molds for the original lamps were created by two French brothers who went under the name L&F Moreau and hid their designs during WWII, for fear they would be seized by invading Nazis; these molds were forgotten until their discovery in 1948. Hirsch’s lighting company recreated their beautiful Art Nouveau designs for his Francaise Collection, which is made in the USA. They are molded with the artists’ signature and mark on the base and side. In great condition with average wear. No chips or breaks. No lamp shades ever came with them. Figures on base 8 inches. This pair of vintage L&F Moreau Spelter Lamps is a beautiful addition to any collection. VTG Streamline Futurist Art Deco Machine Age Chrome Table Lamp Light Pair Kent

Beautiful original machine-age art deco table lamps in incredibly well-preserved condition. Very much in the style of Edward Kent/Railley Corporation, but no conclusive attribution can be made. Shades are made of polished spun aluminum, with black painted accenting. The shades have an inner structure of either cast iron or steel to which they are affixed with the original slot head screws. The base structure is heavy cast iron with spun aluminum exterior. The stem of the lamp appears to be brass painted black (I see brass color peeking out from behind the black in some very small areas) with spun aluminum trim. Lamps have been rewired with modern but period-correct twisted cloth wiring and what appears to be new sockets. The cosmetics of the lamps themselves are original and unrestored. Note: The shades don’t have any hardware that they affix to on the lamps themselves–they were perched directly atop the bulbs when the lamps were acquired. Overall a stunning set of art deco period lighting that is in immaculate condition for being 80-90 years old.

Arts & Crafts porch lights,, 4 1/2 inches wide, 9 inches high. From my personal collection, I bought it as an architectural salvage store 20 years ago. They need to be rewired and I would replace the bulb sockets as well (your choice). I’ve been collecting antique mission and arts & crafts furniture and lamps since 1980, as I have owned several vintage homes (first one was 1906). Over time, I’ve ended up with more pieces than I can possibly use, so it’s time to let some of it go. Please note while the construction and size of these two lights are identical, they are NOT a perfect match: metal work around the glass panels is different. I planned to use these on my front and rear door. I bought these as a pair. As a retired engineer, I pack well. I will reuse packing materials whenever possible to keep stuff out of the landfill! Recently, the service from the post office has slowed down. I still find their service reliable, but at times, slow.

This listing is for a pair of art deco 1930’s/40’s glass and spelter two-tier table lamps with decorative plastic pendalogues. Every other hole on the glass tiers has a pendalogue in it, so there are many open holes for additional ones if desired. These lamps stand 12 1/2 tall to the top of the bulb sockets and both are in working condition as shown in the main photo. A few marks/tarnish areas are present, but overall no major issues. The power cords measure approximately 45 long and although they feel a bit stiff from age, they are still in good condition. Lamps shades are not included. Feel free to ask any questions.
