A handmade vintage piece from the 1970’s. Signed on the underside, R. VA State Prison, 500 Spring St, Richmond, VA, 1972-19-. (The second date is partially crossed out). No cracks, breaks or missing sticks or marbles that we can see. The lamp has been freshly rewired and a new brass plated harp (shade holder) has been added. It’s ready for years to come in its new life with you! The max wattage is not marked, so we suggest using an LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage and also don’t produce much heat, which will protect the wood and glue. Total height – base to the top of the finial: 23 1/2. Diameter at straight sides of base and shade: 10 1/4. Diameter diagonally at points of base and shade: 11. You’re going to LOVE it! Handmade wooden popsicle stick tabletop lamp. Switch to turn on or off. In very good working condition sturdy and strong, metal frame under shade. I have not cleaned it. It is a solid piece appears to be very secure and steady, and certain angles you can still see the original glue. There Doesn’t appear to be any repairs. It is in very good vintage condition. Measurements are approximately 20 inches high 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep as shown in picture. The cord appears to be original probably from the 1970s judging by the plug. Bulbs will not be included. Thanks for looking US only please.

Unique swag light ready to hang! Popsicle stick and green marbles create this vintage handmade treasure. Works as it should, with about 8′ feet of cord length. Measures approximately 9″ tall by 11″ wide. Bottom popsicle show a bit of glue residue- previously had one more row of marbles and sticks that had damage- those were removed and glue sanded down.

Lamp is in good condition with some visible glue. I can’t really tell if any sticks are missing. Some dust is present. Measures approx 14″ in diameter, 21″ tall and weighs 2 lbs. VINTAGE Large Folk Art Popsicle Stick Lamp and Shade

This sale is for a large vintage/folk art handcrafted popsicle stick lamp with shade. It is a great example of folk art created useful objects from popsicle sticks. This was a hobby/craft craze after the war (WWII). This lamp and shade use overlapping popsicle sticks to create a star shaped lamp that morphs into a six sided base. The shade is a geometric dome of 14 sides. The lamp portion is 16″ tall or 24″ tall to top of the harp. The base of the lamp is 11″ x 11″. The lamp shade is approximately 17″ in diameter and 8″ tall. It is made of stained and glued popsicle sticks and sits on a flat piece of wood with four feet. The wood base is likely pine. The base and popsicle sticks are stained. The lampshade is a round faceted shade with 14 facets made by the popsicle sticks. The lamp base has a star shape on the top portion which changes to a six sided base on the bottom half. This is vintage so it has some spotting and there are a few popsicle sticks missing/broken. Most of the broken/missing popsicle sticks are at the top of the shade and the top of the lamp so they aren’t readily n oticeable. There is one broken in the shade (see photo). I can include a few newer blank popsicle sticks that you can stain and glue to the lamp. Also, the lamp sits on the base but is not glued so it is easily moved and should be secured. See photos for condition. The wiring in the lamp works but I strongly recommend rewiring this lamp because the socket is loose and old. It currently has the turn knob control type light socket.
