Here we have a wonderful unusual brass table lamp base. This has been made from an old brass shell, I cannot see any markings on the shell so don’t know which conflict it would have been from but it is definitely of the period. I would imagine this dates to around 1940 and is a one off piece – I have never seen another like it. It measures approximately 18.75 inches tall to the top of the shade holder by 7 inches at the base. It comes with approximately 1m of cable. Weighs around 1.25kgs.
