Vtg. McCoy art pottery lamp ginger jar style, brown

The lamp may be unmarked McCoy art pottery. It’s a rust brown color; the rust and brown can be fused in areas and can have a fine mottling on outer walls. Some black ish areas near edge of base. An overall crazing, no cracks. One side has an etched blotched mark or stain; see pics, dont know why; as found. Fine bump areas in glaze; made that way. Maybe a small flea bite near bottom edge of base, dirty in crevices. Glaze may have over run drips in inside cavity. Some nick scratches here and there. The metal can be tarnished and darkened, the socket outer matal can have light scratches. The cord is ok, but dirty. Measures 10.5 from bottom to top of socket. 8.5 X 6.5 with just the pottery. Galle Daum Legras Style Painted French Art Nouveau Vintage Lamp Handel Quality

This is a super super cool and hard to find and signed Galle style reverse painted lamp. Measuring a whopping 36 inches tall with the shade 16.5 inches wide, this is a large large lamp. Please see photo of comparison size in the listing of a standard size table lamp. Both the base and shade are without issue which means zero damage of any kind, and with the thickness of the glass it is sure to stay that way with proper care. It lights up way way better then i could photograph. The coloration in the paint is superb and without any paint loss or sickness. The lamp is in fine working order and has been recently rewired with a period appropriate cloth cord and matching plug. The arms that support the shade are very strong and have their original patina throughout with no breakage to the metalwork to speak of.
