Antique Art Deco Reading Lamp Cast Iron Boudoir Lamp Gold Green Electrified VTG

Offering this beautiful old lamp, possibly for reading in the boudoir. It looks like it’s mostly cast iron with a vintage repaint in gold and green and a vintage reproduction beaded shaded. It also had a vintage rewiring some years ago and works great. There are two notch openings in the underside of the arm with the light bulb; presumably the original wiring was pulled through them. There is normal display wear to the lamp, but it’s overall in good condition and displays wonderfully. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description. This listing is for 1 green Frankart Art Deco silhouette lamp, number L-212. The lamp does show age appropriate wear such as some paint loss. The frosted backdrop shade does have a few minor chips, 1 bottom corner is broken but is not seen when the shade is in place. The screws for the shade are missing. It does have a cord on it, which I do not guarantee to be in perfect condition. The lamp does work. I have shown the lamp lit with 2 different types of bulbs, the first is a smaller candle flame shape bulb, the second is a taller taper candle shape. Light bulbs are not included. Measurements are approximate: 10-1/2″h x 5″d x 6-1/2 w. This lamp is marked “Frankart 1928″ and pat. Items we sell are used, vintage and previously owned. Pair Vtg MCM Art Pottery Ceramic Table Lamps Purple Green Leaves 19.5 T Metal B. These are very unusual lamps. Colors are very pretty but I don’t know what the artist was going with? These are way cool but looks like Ursula from Little Mermaid was the inspiration for these lights.. I don’t believe bases are original. There is a hole on the bottom back of the lamps so look. Hole was part of the mold process or the bases were changed out and that’s the hole originally used on a different base. I bet the base had a signature on it because these are definitely different. We couldn’t find them on google lens period. Nothing even like them so we are happy we have the pair! Please look through all pictures. There are no cracks or chips from what I can see. They look good. Some minor rusting where ceramic meets metal on the necks but not a big deal in the least. No harps and no shades I wish I could know what type of shades were originally on these. As is and as shown. Please look through all of the pictures and descriptions and please ask us questions if we don’t have what you’re looking for in the description or pictures. Vintage Art Deco Nuart silhouette style lamp. Cast iron base & nude figure, outstretched arms. Red – white mottled stained glass panel insert that is not original to the lamp, something I cut and installed due to the fact that the lamp was found with no glass insert. Arrow fat boy socket. Damage free, all surface clean, new cord & art deco plug end with new insulator disc, new socket insulator as well. Applied Verde Green finish, red & white mottled stained glass light diffuser panel. Measures 8 1/2 overall height. Damage free glass panel measures 7 9/16″ x 4 1/4″ OD. This is a ready to use light, small bulb shown included, bulb is to be considered used.
