Antique VTG 50s-60s U. F. O HUGE! Swag Light/Lamp Atomic Space Folk Art, Space Age

Antique VTG 1950s-60s U. Swag Light/Lamp Atomic Space Folk Art, Area 51. We have no words for this, anyone who sees it just stares and is speechless. This is a light built by a electrical space aged genious i suppose. Its circa late 1950s, early 60s, that much we know from the prior owner however we dont know who built it. The light is huge! Measures approximately 2′ feet tall x 2′ feet wide, and made of metal. Everything seems to work. Heres an explanation as to what it does. Of course there are a bazillion very old early generation red LED lights, all work but four of them. Then there are larger colored dome lights adorning the top and bottom portions of the space craft. The bottom colored lights and the red beacon light on the very bottom flash on and off like a blinker switch, how they got it to do that is way beyond me, there is a little pull chain light switch that turns that feature on and off. Last but not least this thing actually humms, yes it has a slight humm to it just like you would expect a real ufo to sound like? Again we have no idea how someone did this, I was extremely tempted to open it up and see, but left well enough alone as im not qualified to be messing with whatever is going on inside of it. This belongs in a shop/Restaurant in Roswell New Mexico or somewhere it can be seen and enjoyed by many. We joke that only Bob Lazar himself could have made this.. All kidding aside this an extremely unique Piece of lighted Folk art, right out of the space age era itself. The light is extremely old. Has imperpections throughout, some of the LED’S are recessed in spots most likely from being bumped throughout the decades, but working. There is paint flaking off, there is a spot on one edge that has corrosion that went through at one point (pictured) some slight denting here and there, and the bottom large red beacon light looks to have had some appoxy used to seat it? And the plug has been replaced. We decided to leave this light just as found. The new owner can decide weather they want to restore it or leave as is. Either way its a jaw dropping piece, and your gauranteed endless conversation’s over this one. Thank you for looking. Vintage antique table lamp with frosted floral shade with a unique base that looks like a leaf. I was told by the person I bought it from that it was a Pairpoint, but I can’t find a marking except for what I took a picture. But I can’t read the whole thing. Original parts and finish. Real nice old light. Shown lit so you can imagine how wonderful the lamp will look in your home. Scroll to view all the pictures. To the top of the bridge is 57. The bridge is 11 long. The base is 2 1/2″ x 8″ x 8. The fitter is 2 1/4 diameter. Brass plated stamped steel column sleeves and flowers. Brass plated cast iron bridge, column spacer, and base. Socket is mounted on an elbow and is adjustable. Cast into the base: E837 PAT APPLD FOR. All joints are snug. Original Leviton fatboy medium base E-26 socket. On/off pull chain switch. The cord is six feet long. New old school style non-polarized plug. The bridge has been removed. Just screw back onto the column and hand tighten. No cracks or splits. A touch of dirt and surface rust on underside of base. Nicks, scratches, and wear to the finish you should expect to see. The bulbs are not included. Look over the item and read the description. Vtg Antique Art Deco Nouveau Cast Iron Floor Lamp 2 Light Fixture Polychrome

HERE WE HAVE: A vintage or maybe antique floor lamp! It is made of what looks to be cast iron (magnetic) that’s been painted gold and has little polychrome/colored accents around the bottom details. The lamp has a decorative base, leaf accents, what looks to be seahorses around the middle it’s probably just swirls or leaves, but looks sort of like seahorses to me! And a finial on top. Probably more art nouveau in style but has some art deco vibes too it too. There are spots for two bulb sockets and each one has a pull chain to power on/off. The underside of the base is marked with what looks to say “Wellington Stone” and then notes patent applied for. One socket does work, as shown in a photo, but the other bulb socket isn’t complete. It needs replaced so it couldn’t be tested. There is tarnish, color loss, discoloration, surface corrosion and general wear all around. I don’t see any breaks to the metal. Will come in the condition shown, so p. MEASUREMENTS: Lamp measures approximately 64 1/2 tall to the top of the finial. The base is about 10 1/2 in diameter at furthest points. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Art Deco Table Lamp Base Vtg Lamp for Slag Glass Shade

Antique Porcelain Greek Roman Soldier Lamps Art Deco Neoclassical Lady Pair VTG

Offering this elegant pair of vintage porcelain and brass lamps in the Neoclassical style. Each depicts a different ancient Greek or Roman soldier. Looking closely at the faces and hair, I believe both figures are meant to be women, as was popular during the Art Deco era. One has Trojan style helmet with a short tunic and Medusa face on their shield. The other has a sphinx on their helmet and a long toga. Both are holding brass spears. One is missing the tip of a single finger where it wraps around the spear, but the loss is discrete and should be a simple fix. Both have a Neoclassical leaf design around the brass base. There is minor wear to the gold paint detailing at the extremities and normal age-related patina to the metal. One appears to have had its sockets replaced, and the cords are not the same, plus neither has a finial. That said, as you can see these are overall in nice condition for their age and display very dramatically. Each measures about 32″ tall including the post for the shade or 19″ tall to the top of each figure and 7 wide across the bottom of the base.
