This is a pair of what I believe to be Alabaster or Marble carved glow through lamps. This is a matching pair of lamps that do light up and work. Both lamps have variations between them as far as the marbling to them goes. Some marks and damage, each lamp listed below as far as all damage I can see/find to them. Lamps do come loose if spun the wrong way and need tightened to base again should it happen. Can be done by holding light post inside and turning stone slowly to secure in place. Lamps have same wiring to them with a Golbert branded rotary switches. Lamps have a balck base, with a fancy metal base where the stone is secured going up to a loose removable “lid” of stone that has a metal point on top. Both lamps are in similar conditions with the metal parts on top having what looks to be some rust coming through the finish. The metal base part don’t have rust but look to be heavily tarnished. Lamp 1 has some light chips on the lid part’s rim. Also has a few spots that look like chips that haven’t separated yet due to small cracks. One of the bumps around the outside where it meets the rest of the lamp has a sizeable chip that is pictured above. Some light wear to inside rim of main lamp where lid sits as well. Black base of lamp on top edge of the front has a small dent right next to the corner. Some general wear from age of piece Looking inside lid there is visible rust around nut that holds metal topper to the stone. Lamp 2 has some light chips along inside of bottom rim. A couple spots along the fluted part in the middle where there are cracked parts that look to be close to coming off. One rather large piece I don’t believe is glued back on but if it breaks off is about a 1 long chip to the rim. Same rust to edges of nut holding metal topper in place. Main part of lamp has light wear to top rim. Lamp also has another spot around mid bump area of lamp that looks like it is close to being chipped as well with the way it is colored. General wear to lamp from age. Lid part has larger looking holes compared to first lamp. Please feel free to ask any questions! Will require signature for receipt from carrier.
