Arts and Crafts / Mission / Trent Art / Brutalist Vintage Southwest Solid Iron Stylized Bear Electric Lamp, Studio, Abstract. Very artistically and wonderfully crafted. Fantastic vintage one of a kind work of Art. The type of torch cut construction and execution as well as the bronze / goldish / hints of red patinated finish all resemble some of the iron lamp works of famed artist Richard Barr. If you research his metal works you will find this finish. The only marking we could find was the word “France” stamped on the side of the center rod near the top, see photo. Lamp has an additional nightlight socket inside base. Very unique hand crafted Vintage lamp in the Southwest / Arts and Crafts style. Stylized bear and broken arrow Native American motif with intricate cutout metal work in the heavy iron metal. The bear is a symbol of strength, healing, and protection in Native American culture. Kind of a Trench Art type of crafting from iron pipe (don’t know if this is some type of shell casing or not). 6 1/2 wide at base. Body of lamp is approx. 18″ tall (24″ to top of socket). There is the main socket and also a small light socket inside the base for accent lighting / nightlight. There is a goldish bronze added all-over finish on lamp (again, really unique). Lamp base measures approx. 18″ tall (not including center rod and socket) x 6 1/2″ wide at base. No chips, cracks or other damage. Wiring may need testing and restoration See photos and description. No shade or bow is included. The socket is ready for bow easy installation, but the bow needed will depend on the size and type of shade to be used on lamp. As with all electrical items we sell, we recommend that if you are not familiar with electrical repair or restoration, that you consult with a certified electrician if needed before using or installing pre-owned items. This vintage lamp features an Art Deco Nouveau style with a male figure worker design. The lamp is made of mixed materials and has a bronze color. It is a medium-sized lamp. The lamp was produced in the 1920s and is an antique original. The maker of the lamp is believed to be Charles W. A beautiful vintage cameo art glass table lamp base in the style of Emile Galle. This is the base only, the lamp does not have a shade. The glass has a raised grapevine pattern and it is in great condition. It has spots for two bulbs, one for inside the lamp and one for on top. The lamp has a height of 15 up to the base of where the shade should sit. The diameter at the bottom of the lamps is 6 1/4. The metal base at the top of the lamp that holds the shade has some minor damage. There are three arms that extend and each one has a slot to hold the glass shade in place with a screw. One of the slots has broken where it would hold the screw. It will still sit in place and can be held with the other two. There are close up photos of this in the 10th and 11th pictures.

This vintage light shows wear from use including scuffs and scratches on the glass; tears in the fabric cord; and other wear. This lamp is missing the shade for the bulb. The lamp was tested with a standard size incandescent bulb as shown. The lamp is not marked. The light measures approximately 5 3/4 inches high, 5 3/4 inches in overall length, and 3 3/4 inches in overall width. This vintage one of a kind very unique working 1950’s Art Nouveau table lamp is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room. This is signed on the lower front of the base looks like Donnis or Dennis S & Helper It seams to me it is signed by Dennis & maybe he had a helper? Unless Helper is his last name? -Very heavy irregular shaped bubble glass with Indents or dimpled on front & back – Like Blenko style I have never seen one like this before- I tried to research it but can’t find another one like it. Who knows -maybe it is handmade? Doesn’t look like it – The lamp features beautiful caramel color stag glass 4 panel shades with a 3d oval shaped domed raised glass bubble on the front and back of blue grayish brownish clear marbled (on one of them there is a crack see photo’s #6 & 7 & 12) it is barely noticeable, set within a metal frame. The bottom looks like blown glass with green brown marbled through – out & has wood oval base. The corded electric power source ensures easy use wherever you choose to display it. This stands total of 13″ tall the shade is 7″ tall x 6″ on front & back & 4″ on sides – the heavy blue glass is 5″ tall x 4 1/2″ at widest part x 2 1/2. Wood base is 5 1/2′ x 3 oval shaped and almost a half inch thickness. Do not do it any justice Bold statement piece. The lamp’s design is a nod to the Art Nouveau style, with its intricate metalwork and stag glass panels. The blue hues of the glass create a calming ambiance, making it perfect for a cozy reading nook or as a statement piece in a living or bedroom.
