The body of the lamp is blown by hand out of thick clear glass, is extremely heavy, and done with a stunning ribbed urn style silhouette. It’s mounted to a lovely circular black base and is fastened with a generic sized light socket. The lamp is in great working condition and measures 28 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. Both cords will need to be replaced as they are brittle and one plug has been cut. Lamps were manufactured by Continental Lamp Co. In the United States during the late 40’s to early 50s, adding to their unique appeal. Perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of Mid-Century Modern style to their home. Great condition for age. Minor wear here and there. Possibly a very small chip to flower as shown. Once felt is removed, wires can be replaced.

This vintage Italian table lamp is a true piece of art. The beautiful caged design and purple Murano glass make it unique and eye-catching. The lamp stands approximately 27 inches tall with shade mount (20 without). And has a diameter of approximately 8 inches. It is a corded electric lamp with a brown cord and has a rotary knob for control and appears to be all original. The lamp is made of brass, glass, and steel and was manufactured by Marbro Lamp Co in Italy during i believe the 1950s. This original and authentic piece is perfect for collectors or anyone looking to add a touch of vintage Italian style to their home.
