Up for consideration is fine Antique Bronze Art Deco Machine era Bankers or desk lamp. The lamp stands about 26 inches in height with a shade diameter of 14 inches. It has great stepped disc finials on the base of the socket and on back of the rectangular base behind the stem. The glass shade which diffuses the light is a fairly early one as opposed to the standard milk glass patterned ones you see a little later. Moving on the shade it has concentric rings that gives it a stepped look and breaks up the surface area of a potentially profane long sloped smooth edge. There is a few imperfections to the shade and it does need to be rewired. Overall the lamp is in fine condition considering it was made in the 30’s or so. It looks to a desk office or bankers lamp as there appears to an impression on both sides of the base that may possibly cradle a pen.
