This is a great vintage Mid Century California Pottery Stoneware lamp, hand thrown, hand glazed and in excellent vintage condition. The handsome handled stoneware jug lamp measures 12 3/4″ to the top of the sphere and 23″ to the top of the finial. It has a felt type bottom(underside) as is appropriate to the period. A wonderful abstract floral and leaves glaze in cool pale blue almost grey, warm brown tones and beiges and a taupe like beige on top and bottom, all speckled, see the pictures.
