French contemporary lamp in Art Nouveau style by Augustin Granet for Objet Insolite – “Clara” model. Measures: h: 11.5″ w: 2.5″ width with flower: 3.5. Patinated cast bronze table light. Plugs in – cord is fairly short at around 20 inches. Vintage 1990 model (I think – based on my research). Made to look like a plant with a stem and a leaf – classic design, well-known in the design space. Round base with a solid bronze cast foot. Black patina finish of the bronze, obtained by hot oxidation of the bronze which is tinted and then waxed. Augustin Grant has been creating lighting fixtures in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, a distinction granted by the French government that recognizes French companies with exceptional craft and industrial production.
