Vintage 1930s Art Deco Bakelite Lamp Chase Brass Copper ORIGINAL CORD

This is a vintage circa 1930s – 1940s Art Deco brass or copper working lamp with Bakelite trim. Made by Chase Brass in Waterbury, CT. It appears to be in nearly new condition with original cord and clean light bulb socket. Some shelf wear on base. Chase was known for creating high quality solid brass and copper objects during the Art Deco era. Vintage Light House Lighthouse Lamp Light ART DECO 1930’S ORIGINAL RED GLOBE. Overall Height with globe 15. Approx 10 to the top of the socket. Original paint with a newer cord. The stunning red globe is in fantastic vintage condition with a. Few chips on the base which is not seen when placed in the globe holder. The body of the lamp is cast zinc and there is a thin crack on the backside. As shown in the 4th photo. It is not structural. Most likely from the metal. Shrinking as it was cooled. It can be easily patched or filled in if you choose to do it. Note: This is a vintage item and has been previously owned. It may not be perfect. If not described as perfect, please expect that there may be some imperfections. Please look at my photos as they are part of my description and are of the actual item you will receive! The glaze on lamp base is nice and shiny. Base is stamped with Mackenzie Childs logo. The candlestick on base is still white. The ORIGNAL parchment shape is I feel, in perfect vintage condition. All the dangle bears are intact, no bent tips! No stains and absolutely clean. Both lamp & shade have the pink and yellow zigzag, square and strip design. This original early 20th century table lamp is Arts and Crafts meets Art Deco. Stands about 19 tall and weighs a little over 6.5 pounds. Marked on the bottom S338. Looks like brass over some other metal – maybe a pot metal – but I’m not sure. I haven’t attempted to clean or polish it at all. Magnet weakly attracted to it. Original Vintage Classic Art Deco French brass desk / table lamp with a brass circular stem and base. This lamp has a stunning blue, gray and white glass hat shade to compliment the base. Iconic for this period. The stem and base are in good condition and heavily patinated. This gives a simple but classy look. The glass shade is in similarly excellent condition with no cracks, a few chips around base as usual with these shades.. There are rub spots on the stem, these are not very noticeable so please study photos. A charming art deco style table lamp. This lamp is an original and approx 90 years old. A truly beautiful lamp. Not to be found these days. Please view all pictures to appreciate the piece very rare unusual lamp. Shows some wear associated with age & use rubbing/ marking to base. Shade is original, sits well. Some surface wear and finish loss noted to fittings. Small dents and dings to base. Measures approx 18.5high x 6base diameter. Shade diameter is 9 Round. This lamp has period style wiring in brown.
