We are offering a vintage Mid Century Modern hand painted ceramic lamp in the form of an extravagant African in dance costume. Lamp is in excellent condition, fully functional, ceramic has no chips, no cracks and no repairs have been done. We do not have the original lamp shade. Measures 39 3/8″ tall from the base to the top screw and 26 1/2″ from the base to the top of the man’s head. Base measures 10 1/4″ x 7″. Please study the photos as they are part of the description. Vintage Murano Glass Flower Basket Table Lamp Czech Bohemian Hand Made. Metal base measures 8″ wide x 5.5″ x 2.5″ high (13″ high with handle). Glass floral shade measures 8.5″ wide x 6.5″ x 3.75 high. Height of base and shade together is 6 tall. Approximately 90 art glass blossoms / flowers tied to metal wire framework beneath. Dark blue, light blue, gold, yellow, green. The floral cluster glows beautifully when plugged in. 40 watt bulb included. Gold colored electrical cord 90 long. Base is in good shape for it’s age. The “feet” on the base are in very good condition, securely attached. See photos as part of description. One flower appears to be missing, as there is one open space among the flowers – see last photo with arrow. Also, seam on metal base has a small slit where the light shows through, also shown in last photo. Otherwise very good overall. Please ask any questions.

This lamp is a hand painted watercolor Art Deco style one of a kind art piece by designer/artist Frederick Cooper of Chicago. The details are hard to photograph because of how stunning they are in person. Comes with original extremely high quality Frederick Cooper lamp shade as well. 5.5 Wide at Base. 12 Diameter Lamp shade. The item pictured is not a stock photo. Photos presented are the exact item you will receive. In 1923, Frederick Cooper, a Chicago artist, established a studio to create beautiful sculpture and watercolor paintings. American architecture was in its heyday in the Windy City. Cooper was drawn to the still fairly new invention of lamps. Through mixing the media of brass, fabric, glass and wood, Cooper created exquisitely designed lamps that matched the swift innovation in American architecture.
