Presenting a stunning and unique vintage 1980s postmodern designer desk / table lamp designed by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs in the 1980’s. Beckons back to the Art Deco era with its industrial look and use of mixed metals and glass including a textured black metal base, brass tubular columns, complimented by a floating 1/4 inch thick glass inserts on either side of a metal mesh element crowned by a quintessential Art Deco top completing the look. Part of the Memphis style Art Deco revival period. Lamp is a sought after collectable, both useful and appealing, is sure to add drama and dimension to your table or desktop vintage or modern decor. Dimmer dial allows for regulating the intensity of light you desire. The light is a warm tone, sending light both upwards as well as downwards. Condition is excellent commensurate with age and use. Lamp is fully functional, I detected minor wear to the paint on textured metal base as shown in photos. Brass poles clean, and the glass is in great condition with no visible scratches. No other notable imperfections were found. Dimensions: H 15.25 in. X W 17.5 in. X D 4.75 in. Base dimensions 9.5 W x 4 inches D. Very heavy – weighs about 7.5 lbs pre-packaged.
