Vintage Art Deco 17.5 Chalkware Cherub Angel Lamp Grape Cluster Glass Shade

For your consideration is this beautiful art deco cherub/angel painted chalkware lamp with a glass grape cluster shade! Circa 1930’s/40’s. I can’t say for sure if the shade is original to the lamp, however, I would say it is quite possible and it fits perfectly. The copper rim around the outside/top of the lamp has ornate floral designs within it. This lamp is controlled by a pull chain and it still works as designed. There are a few age related marks and scratches on the chalkware, but there are no significant issues. The inside of the shade holder has some tarnishing and wear. Green felt material is on the underside for surface protection. The power cord remains in good condition and may have been updated at some point. Overall a great looking lamp! This lamp measures 17 1/2″ tall with the shade and 12″ tall without it, the base is 6″ in diameter, and the cord is approximately 45″ long. Beautiful 1950s Gilt Bronze Cherub Table Lamp was made by DAV Art NY. French influence with the cherub reaching upward. Very well cared for. Beautiful clear and frosted glass shade. The lamp from base to filigree metal fitter is 15 inches. With shade in place it’s 23 inches tall. Base is 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Cord is 7 feet long with on off switch 12 inches from lamp base on the cord. Bottom of base stamped DAV NY.
