The sale is for a vtg. MCM Italian art pottery handmade TV lamp. The lamp has a flared out buckle design opening. Blue, green in shades glaze that fades into bottom to almost semi white. A large rope design loop at top, an elaborate applied yarn texture with a squiggle design on top. The outside has a design with an in and out like rope design that has a faint blue/green texture in the white to resemble white. Three rows of rope like banded design with S like shapes in the round. Blue green in between the shapes. The S design being an ochre color. Green in between resembles a border design. Good condition with age related issues. The socket works; it has a push in/out on one of the sides. At top of design, theres an area that looks unglazed, almost like a scuff, but it was made that way. The front has a yellow like color; may be old tape on the white. There are pencil lead marks on front; should clean, yellow stains on sides and back; should clean. The cord is dirty, yellowed, seems stiff, but not dangerous. Underside has a pushed in soiled gray felt. Could be marked under felt but did not want to compromise. Shelf wear on rim. A tiny flea bite on front bottom edge; could be a smaller one right side but believe its a flaw. The vase will have color/ceramic flaws, mold flaws. If there is wear, hard to tell.
