Vintage Art Deco era faience lamp made in France by Kaza, designed from a sculpture by Armand Godard. 7″ by 5″ base, 10 3/4 high. Kneeling Middle Eastern woman and base in an off-white shiny crackle glaze, pair of pots are matte glaze- open in the bottom for the light to shine through. I think it’s very likely that this accent lamp was also meant to distribute scent with the heat of the bulb with a drop of oil inside the pots. The artist’s name is incised and painted black under the glaze, “Editions KAZA made in France” marked inside, on-off toggle on the cord. Lamp is safe to use. A few slight glaze flakes on the base. Very pretty lit or unlit.
