Vintage Desk Lamp or Bedside Lamp. This is an early to mid-1900’s lamp made of brass with a weighted base. The wiring has been freshly updated with vintage style twisted cloth cord in a cool olive green color with gold flecks. The painted finishes on the lamp are antique gold & hammered copper. No cracks in the brass or gouges in the finish – just tiny marks here or there that don’t take away from the eye-catching style of the lamp. The glass shade is stamped Holophane and has no cracks – just some shallow “flea bites” along the interior edge, which aren’t noticed because of the ribbed details and the way the light bounces around the prismatic textures in the glass (see closeup). Felt bottom to protect your furniture. The Bryant socket has been cleaned, tested & is working great. It uses one standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like since they use low wattage for bright light. Light bulb not included.
