It seems to have had a couple replacement sockets over time, and the finish has been painted a bronzey-brown and gold, which seems like it may not have been original, but looks lovely. A beautiful lamp for your stained glass shade (or another antique / vintage style shade would be beautiful too – like something with fringe). The painted finish has some tiny rubs and marks here and there, and a couple small spots where the paint has chipped off – but nothing very noticeable unless you’re inspecting it closely like we are.
