Vintage FLORENTINE ART STUDIO Chalkware Lamp – Made in 1984. Native American Mother and Child w/ Brocade Fabric shade trimmed w/ Feathers. These chalkware lamps were made from molds and individually painted by in-house artists. No two lamps ever look the same. This particular lamp was painted by one of the studio’s better artists: The paint is bright and the details are crisp. The base is in very good overall condition. Minor chipping – Wear is consistent with age. Shade is in excellent condition. The lamp is in working order. 25 high to the top of the shade – The chalkware base is approx. 19″ High x 13″ Across x 10 deep. The 12 high shade is not original to the lamp. Someone custom-made the Brocade Fabric Shade with Feather trim. It looks really funky on the lamp! It definitely transforms it to Kitschy Chic! This is the type of piece that can transform a room!
