Rare Vintage Art Deco Chrome Machine Age Desk Boudoir Lamp Light. Works

This listing is for a rare vintage Art Deco Machine Age adjustable chrome boudoir or desk lamp. The lamp does work. It measures 11 3/4″ tall with a 3 1/4″ x 5 5/8 base. The chrome could be over brass… However, a magnet will not stick to it. The columns seem to be Bakelite… The shade measures 4 1/2″ long and 3 3/8″ across. There are scuffs, scratches and some of the shiny finish is off from over the years. Check the older cord… There is a scuff spot on one of the columns. The light swings between the columns. I can get it to stay straight up, but in between it wants to swing. The on/off button pushes fine. I have never run across a light like this. This is a nice, unusual lamp from a nice estate. Beautiful and elegant Modernist ROUGIER Closed TULIP Flower LAMP Acrylic Petals 26 Tall made in 1984 by Canadian Designer Roger Rougier. There are 3 petals, all white, one of the petals has a pearlescent look. The base is 6.25″ x 6.25″ but the lamp is wider. It is in very good condition but I couldn’t dust very well between two of the petals so there is some dust. It may come apart but I did not attempt it. See photos for details. No cracks or yellowing. This is a fabulous Art Deco lady lamp marked patent pending. The finish has some chipping but otherwise very good condition. Globe is beautiful and awesome lit with some very minor chips around the base that are covered by the base globe holder. The bottom has a felt covering and measures 6 1/2″ long and 5 1/2″ wide. Vintage ART DECO Brass with Alabaster TABLE LAMP Cord Replaced

This is a Vintage Art Deco Table Lamp. Made of Brass with a Stone Orb Insert Alabaster? The Base is in an octagonal “Emerald” shape and seems to be made of a white/silver metal with a gold finish (see photo showing the bottom of the base). Rewired with “newer” electrical, cord and plug (likely replaced within the last 20-30 years). No Harp or Lampshade included. In very good, vintage condition (see photos). There is some wear due to use and age… Some staining and scratches on the Stone/Alabaster Insert… Assuming that it can be cleaned/polished if desired. Measures approximately 15-1/2″ tall (to the top of the light bulb socket), 6-7/8″ long, and 4-3/4 wide. Please contact me with any questions.
