This listing is for a rare vintage Art Deco Machine Age adjustable chrome boudoir or desk lamp. The lamp does work. It measures 11 3/4″ tall with a 3 1/4″ x 5 5/8 base. The chrome could be over brass… However, a magnet will not stick to it. The columns seem to be Bakelite… The shade measures 4 1/2″ long and 3 3/8″ across. There are scuffs, scratches and some of the shiny finish is off from over the years. Check the older cord… There is a scuff spot on one of the columns. The light swings between the columns. I can get it to stay straight up, but in between it wants to swing. The on/off button pushes fine. I have never run across a light like this. This is a nice, unusual lamp from a nice estate.
