Vintage 1920’s Art Deco Cut Glass Mushroom Dome Shade Table Lamp with Prisms

This is a beautiful vintage cut glass crystal mushroom dome table lamp. This lamp is 16 1/2″ tall to the top of the shade and shade is approximately 8 1/2″ wide at the widest point and 7 at the fitter and dates from around the 1920’s. There are 24 crystal prisms, and the lamp has a sawtooth base to match the shade. The glass cuts are sharp and deep creating beautiful clarity and brilliance. The lamp has some signs of use and age you will see some air bubbles and some minor scuffs. This is a stunning lamp reflecting light from highly polished surfaces. The condition is very good, there are no chips or cracks you will see some prisms with some minor chips.

As you can see, this gorgeous vintage Murano table lamp is in very good condition for its age, with some light surface wear but no chips, cracks or other significant damage. The wiring is in good shape and works great. It measures about 20″ tall by 11″ wide and is made of lovely pale green glass with a satin finish. In addition to the main light at the top, there is a smaller light in the base that would make a great nightlight. The rotary switch on the bottom cycles through having either the top or bottom light on by itself or both at once. To change the bottom bulb, you simply unscrew the collar around the top socket and lift the bottom glass off. Please see all photos. MID CENT MODERNIST ART DECO BAUHAUS. DESK MUSHROOM TABLE LAMP. CHROME AND GLASS VINTAGE. IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. This is for a rare mushroom table lamp manufactured in Germany. The lamp consists of a mushroom shaped lamp shade made of chrome metal with a thick clear round glass plaque on top. The stem is placed on a round heavy chrome metal base. The lamp has black felt underneath. It has a black cord with intermedia switch. Takes one E27 (big European size) light bulb with max. 220 V 50 Hz. Very good vintage condition with just minor signs caused to use and age. Height total: 480 mm / ca. Iameter lampshade: 340 mm / ca. Diameter base: 155 mm / ca.
